Scope & Content |
Photograph shows a First World War memorial unveiled on Armistice Day, November 11, 1922. The plinth is made of grey granite from Vancouver's North Shore mountains. This cenotaph was initially placed at the corner of McBride Boulevard and Columbia Street, and then moved closer to the Patullo Bridge, but is now located in Memorial Plaza at City Hall, with a shortened plinth. |
