The New Westminster Downtown and Property Owners' Association has its eyes on the former Burr residence on Royal Avenue as an archive. The house which is the birthplace of actor Raymond Burr is a good example of early balconied homes that dotted the city. The house was almost destroyed in the fire of '98. |
