Photograph shows a view of Columbia Street looking east from Church Street. At the corner of Church St. is 445 Columbia listed in the directory by 1958 as The Mart. Above The Mart is Dave McWater's Billiards listed in the 1956-57 Lower Fraser Valley directory at 27 Church Street. Store with the "GE" sign is Phillips Radio and Furniture at 435 Columbia Street. Large oblong neon sign belongs to the King Edward Hotel (the sign says "licensed"). In the distance is Forst's home furnishings at 304 Columbia and CKNW radio at 227 Columbia. These businesses are on the north side of the street. Note the large sign for the "Sun" newspaper.
